Flash flooding could be a possibility for the Twin Lakes Area this weekend. As of Saturday morning, some scattered light showers have been falling in north central Arkansas and southern Missouri, but according to senior forecaster John Lewis from the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock, that is expected to change beginning later Saturday and continuing through Sunday.

A flash flood watch is in effect for north central Arkansas through Tuesday morning and for southern Missouri through Monday evening.
