After a night off Monday night, the St. Louis Cardinals host the New York Mets Tuesday night to begin a three-game series. St. Louis is 66-57 on hte year and trails the Cubs by 12 1/2 games in the National League Central race. The Cardinals lead Miami by 1 1/2 games for the second wild card spot.
