Football, volleyball, tennis and golf make up the local Thursday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School volleyball team continues its home stand as they welcome Harrison to the Hangar. The freshmen match begins at 4:30 followed by the junior varsity and varsity matches.
Elsewhere, Cotter hosts Flippin, Yellville-Summit travels to Marshall, and Bergman makes the trip to Green Forest.
Mountain Home’s high school tennis teams will be on the road as they meet up with Harrison. Action gets underway at four p.m. at Harrison Country Club.
In high school golf, Salem will compete at Tannenbaum Golf Course in Drasco.
Salem’s high school and junior high football teams will have one more preseason tuneup as they host a scrimmage against Walnut Ridge.
In addition, the Mountain Home High School wrestling team begins signing up new members. Registrations will be Thursday and Friday at 3:10 in the lobby of the Hangar.
