SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) — Cody Bellinger hit two home runs and drove in six
runs, as the Tulsa Drillers defeated the Springfield Cardinals 7-3 on Monday.
Bellinger hit a three-run shot in the fourth inning and then hit a solo homer
in the sixth, both off Johnny Walter. Tim Locastro homered and singled in the
win.
Tulsa starter Chase De Jong (14-5) picked up the win after allowing just four
hits over six scoreless innings. Opposing starter Walter (0-6) took the loss in
the Texas League game after allowing six runs and 10 hits over 6 2/3 innings.
