LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Jabari Henry hit a three-run home run in the first
inning, leading the Arkansas Travelers to a 5-0 win over the Springfield
Cardinals on Tuesday.
The home run by Henry scored Alex Yarbrough and Andrew Daniel to give the
Travelers a 3-0 lead.
The Travelers later tacked on a run in both the fifth and sixth innings. In the
fifth, Sean Coyle scored on an error, while Bo Way hit an RBI double in the
sixth.
Arkansas starter Alex Blackford (9-7) picked up the win after allowing just
four hits over five scoreless innings. Opposing starter Corey Baker (3-8) took
the loss in the Texas League game after allowing five runs and nine hits over
seven innings.
