The Mountain Home School Board met Thursday at noon at Mountain Home Junior High School to hear a bid for an intercom system replacement at the kindergarten by Mike Walker and a presentation from students detailing the work they've accomplished this fall with new technology. School Board Vice President Neal Pendergrass and member Lisa House were absent.
The intercom system at the kindergarten was put out of commission by a lightning strike earlier this year. Mike Walker was the only bid at, what the board said was a reasonable price of, $12,629.40.
Also during the meeting, students from the Mountain Home Junior High School gave presentations showing the work they've accomplished this year using technology like Chromebooks and Google Drive.
