Izard County’s golfers competed in a multi-team match hosted by Greers Ferry West Side Thursday at Tannenbaum Golf Course in Drasco.
The Lady Cougars’ Mikayla Kish was the medalist on the girls’ side as she shot an 86 and beat out Southside Batesville’s Katie Bullard by two strokes. Southside won the team standings with a total of 294.
In the boys’ results, Izard County finished second in the team standings at 256 falling to Concord by two strokes. Concord’s Jacob Webb was the individual medalist with a 78, and Matthew Workman led the Cougars as he ended second with an 83.
