Sunday hours at the Donald W. Reynolds Library serving Baxter County will resume Sunday, September 11, from 1 to 5 in the afternoon, according to Library Director Kim Crow-Sheaner. She says the library board of directors recently made the decision to resume Sunday hours after learning funds to the library, which were cut last year by the Arkansas State Legislature, would be restored.

The library board is assured funds will be available to keep the library open seven days a week through July of next year. In the event the money is no longer available, the board will reevaluate all aspects of the budget, says Crow-Sheaner, before making decisions to change library programs, services and hours of operation.

Regular hours at the Donald W. Reynolds Library serving Baxter County are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday afternoon from 1 to 5.
