Eight building permits were issued by the city of Mountain Home during the month of August with a total contracted value of $665,800, according to Roberta Pack from the City of Mountain Home Building Inspection Department.
The sole residential new construction permit was issued to Bryan Bell Construction for a residential duplex at Good Samaritan Village with a construction cost of $400,000.
Two nonresidential permits valued at $600, three sign permits valued at $5,200 and two nonresidential commercial remodels valued at $260,000 were also issued in August.
Cost of permits issued for the month of August totaled $2,520 including $1,460 for building permits, $89 for electric permits, and $971 for plumbing permits.
The city Building and Inspection Department handled 120 inspections during the month of August.
