FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) _ Arkansas made its return to national relevance with a
dramatic double-overtime victory over TCU a week ago, the school’s eighth win in
its last nine games.
Now the Number 24 Razorbacks (2-0) hope to stay on the national stage when they
host Texas State (1-0) on Saturday.
Quarterback Austin Allen accounted for four touchdowns, and middle linebacker
Brooks Ellis had a 47-yard interception return for a touchdown in Arkansas’ win
over the Horned Frogs.
The two expect to continue their stellar play this week while helping the
Razorbacks avoid another difficult game against a non-conference opponent _ such
as their 21-20 win over Louisiana Tech to open the season.
