A West Plains man suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Howell County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 81-year-old Robert Hamor was transported by private vehicle from the accident scene six miles south of West Plains to Ozarks Medical Center.
Hamor was traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 63 when he pulled into the path of a northbound vehicle driven by 20-year-old Bayleigh Phelps of Mammoth Spring. Phelps was not injured in the collision.
Both of cars were totaled in the ten a.m. crash. Hamor was not wearing a safety device.
