The Mountain Home High School volleyball team had a rough outing at the Hangar, losing to Batesville 3-1. The Lady Bombers lost by scores of 22-25, 25-22, 25-20 and 25-12.
Ashley Pyeatt led Mountain Home with 19 kills, Britney Leonard had nine kills and four blocks, Claudia Carter added eight kills and six blocks, Hannah Pfeifer recorded 21 digs, and Anna Taylor added 40 assists.
The Lady Bombers fall to 8-7 on the season and 5-2 in the 6A/5A-2, and they’ll head to Jonesboro Saturday to compete in the ASU Playday at Valley View High School.
