Big Spring Park in downtown Cotter was the site for the sixth annual Bridge Bash benefiting the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas. Saturday's fundraising event provided over 500,000 meals to the Food Bank and its 75 member hunger relief agencies in Baxter, Boone, Fulton, Izard, Marion, Newton, Searcy, Sharp and Stone Counties.
Event Coordinator Susan Stockton says volunteers packaged hundreds of thousands of meals and the event raised thousands of dollars.

The meals packaged and money raised will go directly to providing meals to the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas' nine counties and 75 hunger relief agencies.
