A Lynn woman has been arrested in Stone County on felony charges after stealing a school bus. Stone County Sheriff Lance Bond says 50 year old Pamela Twilla faces charges of breaking or entering, theft of property as well as a traffic violation following her arrest Sunday.
According to the sheriff, his office received a report of a stolen school buss from Timbo High School. An officer from the Mountain View Police Department, who were called to assist in the search, initiated a traffic stop at Long Avenue and Highway 66. Twilla, who was behind the wheel of the school bus, was arrested and taken to the Stone County jail. She told investigating officers she took the school bus because she was tired of walking.
