2-vehicle accident in Caulfied causes minor injuries

     An Ozark County woman suffered minor injuries Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle accident in Howell County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 19-year-old Mahalia Griggs of Gainesville refused treatment at the scene in Caulfield.

     Griggs was traveling eastbound on Highway 160 when her vehicle turned into the path of a westbound pickup truck driven by 51-year-old Melvin Elliott of Mountain View causing the vehicles to collide. Elliott and his passengers, 26-year-old Michael Scarbrough of Willow Springs and 28-year-old Josiah Boyle of Mountain View, Missouri, also suffered minor injuries. Boyle was transported by private vehicle to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, and Elliott and Scarbrough refused treatment at the scene.

     Both vehicles were totaled in the 7:40 a.m. accident.
