(AP) – A 19-year-old man is accused of fatally shooting
another man at a home last month in the Kansas City, Missouri, suburb of
Independence.
Jackson County prosecutors charges Travon M. Williams with second-degree
murder and armed criminal action in the Oct. 30 death of Jacobsen Laumoli.
Court documents allege that Williams took a gun belonging to the homeowner
during a party and fired at the front door, striking Laumoli in the back.
Prosecutors allege that several witnesses saw Williams fire the shots.
Online court records do not show whether Williams has an attorney to speak on
his behalf.
Prosecutors have requested a $300,000 bond.
