(AP) – Authorities have captured a man charged with killing
two people in Jefferson City.
Police said in a news release that 27-year-old Brandon Rapier was arrested
Thursday after he was spotted coming out of a wooded area at a park. The release
said he was hurt and was taken to a hospital for treatment, where he is listed
in fair condition.
Rapier is charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of
27-year-old Ciera Kolb and 27-year-old Micah Hall. They were attacked Wednesday
night outside a residence and later died.
The release says that it appears a “sharp object” was used in the attack. The
object hasn’t yet been located.
Rapier was recently released from prison after being convicted of stabbing a
person in 2014.
