(AP) – The Arkansas Department of Correction says a work
release inmate who walked away from a job site in northeast Arkansas has been
recaptured.
Department spokesman Solomon Graves says 32-year-old Clenton Forrister was
taken into custody Sunday afternoon by Arkansas State Police.
Details of his capture were not released.
Graves said earlier that Forrister walked away from his job site near
Interstate 55 and Highway 61 in Blytheville about 8 p.m. Saturday.
The Department of Correction says Forrister is serving a 20 year prison
sentence after being convicted in 2014 in Pulaski County on weapons, drug and
first-degree battery charges.
Forrister was being held at the department's Mississippi County Work Release
Center in Luxora.
