Probation sentences handed down

Several people were given probation during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

Harold Fuller, who lists Heber Springs as his address, was given seven years probation after pleading guilty to possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

According to court records, the 47-year-old Fuller was stopped by a Norfork Police Department officer on December 15th last year. During searches of his person and vehicle, the officer found the drugs and a pipe used to smoke methamphetamine.

Fuller was sentenced under provisions of Act 346, meaning that if he stays out of trouble during his probation period, he can petition the court to have his record sealed.

David Blake of Caulfield, Missouri, was given five years probation on drug charges filed after officers were called to a single motorcycle accident involving Blake and finding drugs and drug paraphernalia in a black pouch on the wrecked motorcycle.

The accident took place October 18th last year along Fout Road in the Gamaliel area.

Walter Pittaway of Lakeview was given four years probation after pleading guilty to possession of methamphetamine. The 31-year-old Pittaway was arrested November 13th when Mountain Home Police found him passed out by the swimming pool of a local motel. According to investigative records, Pittaway had a bottle of vodka and a knife set out next to him. Officers also found methamphetamine.

Johnna Speirs of Mountain Home was also given four years probation on a methamphetamine possession charge. The 31-year-old Speirs was stopped for speeding by a Mountain Home police officer earlier this month and found to be in possession of a small bag containing the drug.

Speirs was also sentenced under provisions of Act 346.
