In high school basketball Monday, the Gainesville girls were 64-45 winners over Willow Springs. The Lady Bulldogs are 2-0 on the campaign.
On the junior high level, Mountain Home won all three boy’s games at Batesville. The Junior Bombers picked up a 51-41 victory. Wyatt Gilbert paced the Junior Bombers with 18 points as they improve to 3-3 on the season.
Mountain Home topped Batesville 31-18 in the 8th grade game. Dawson Tabor finished with nine points as the 8th Grade Bombers move to 5-0 on the year.
The Mountain Home 7th grade boys edged Batesville 31-26. Luke Proctor led the way with 11 points.
Mountain Home won two junior high girl’s games at home against Batesville. The Junior Lady Bombers trailed by one at halftime but outscored Batesville 25-6 in the second half for a 40-20 victory. Anna Grace Foreman scored 14 as the Junior Lady Bombers improve to 5-2.
Mountain Home won the 8th grade game 36-14. That was their season opener.
