The City of Bull Shoals has received a $500,000 grant from the Delta Regional Authority to be used toward replacing the city’s wastewater plant and updating the system. Bull Shoals Mayor David Hotchkiss said this grant is in addition to the USA grant/loan funding package.
The grant from the Delta Regional Authority is part of a total $26 million investment to strengthen the infrastructure, workforce and economy in 15 Arkansas communities. The funds are from the authority’s main federal funding program that invests in public projects in the 252 counties and parishes of the eight state Delta region.
