Norfork split its bowling matches with Southside Batesville Thursday at Driftwood Lanes.
The Panthers were able to sweep the boys’ match over the Southerners 13-0. Zach Helm was Norfork’s top bowler with a 236 and a 161, and Dylan Carr had a career high 224 and a 162. The Panthers improve to 2-0 on the season.
Norfork did not fare as well in the girls’ match as they fell to Southside 12-1. Allison Coon led the Lady Panthers with a 131 and a 121, and Haley Payne rolled a 126 and a 124. Norfork drops to 1-1 on the year.
Both Panther teams will be in Horseshoe Bend on Monday to take on Melbourne.
