Bombers finish 6th in Forsyth Basketball Tournament

The Mountain Home High School boys' basketball team ended the Forsyth Basketball Tournament with a sixth-place finish on Saturday. The Bombers fell to Reeds Spring in the consolation final by a score of 57-43.

The Wolves led for much of the game, but Mountain Home kept it fairly close in the first three quarters. The Bombers did go up on Reeds Spring after scoring the first five points of the second half, and it was their first advantage since 3-2. The Wolves would eventually get the lead back, and in the final period, they pulled away for a 14-point victory.

Mountain Home was led by Luke Jackson with 25 points. For Reeds Spring, Lane Carroll scored 19 points, and Austin Bradfield added 14.

The Wolves are now 2-1 on the season. The Bombers drop to 1-5, and they'll meet Sylvan Hills Thursday to open the Cyclone Classic in Russellville.
