Thomas Galluzzo of Mountain Home pled guilty to possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and was given four years probation during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed in the case, the 18-year-old Galluzzo was arrested September 10th when Mountain Home Police officers were called to Spring Valley Kitchenettes on a complaint. Once officers arrived, two people exited the room. They took police back to the room where they contacted Galluzzo.

When Galluzzo was asked if he had anything illegal on him, he admitted he did and told officers it was in the front pocket of his pants. Officers found two small bags of methamphetamine as well as a glass pipe used to smoke the drug.

Galluzzo was sentenced under provisions of Act 346. If he stays out of trouble during his probation period, he can apply to the court to have his record sealed.
