ASUMH wins awards for marketing

     Arkansas State University Mountain Home recently won four Medallion Awards at the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations’ regional conference held in Santa Fe New Mexico. ASUMH’s Communications and Marketing team won a gold Medallion award in the TV/PSA Advertisement category for its 30-second commercial titled “3 Rivers, 2 Lakes, 1 Great Education” which can be found on YouTube.

     Director of Communications and Institutional Advancement, at ASU Mountain Home Christy Keirn, is enthusiastic about the reception the video received.

     Keirn says the ASUMH team won another bronze award for their college promotional brand called “ASUMH Changes Lives” which is on the homepage of their website at asumh.edu.

     A visual depiction of the University plays an important role.

     The final bronze the Communications and Marketing team won had to do with college promotional material for a successful recruitment and marketing program.

     Keirn says the campaign highlights the beauty of the region, including the college campus, and the amount of outdoor activity the Twin Lakes Area has to offer.

     She is proud how well ASU Mountain Home placed considering the competition came from Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming.
