MH swept by Norfork at Driftwood Lanes

The Mountain Home High School bowling teams had a tough outing Wednesday at Driftwood Lanes as they were swept by Norfork.



The Lady Bombers were able to win the individual side of the girls’ match, but after Baker action, they ended up losing to the Lady Panthers 8-5. Caitlyn Kill was Mountain Home’s top bowler with a 212 and a 191, and Amanda Crow added a 191. For Norfork, Maggie Anderson had a 179 and a 138, and Allison Coon rolled a 145 and a 139. The Lady Panthers improve to 2-1 on the season.



The Bombers also lost the boys’ match to Norfork by a final of 9-4. Christian Amato led Mountain Home with a 193, and Jonathan Fox bowled a 179. Zach Helm had a 202 and a 183 for the Panthers, Caleb Moser finished with a 200 and a 175, and Colby Jowers provided a 181 and a 153. Norfork is now 4-0 on the year.



Both schools return to action Monday as Mountain Home will be in Jonesboro, and Norfork will take on Flippin at Bull Shoals Lanes.
