Mel Coleman, Chief Executive Officer of North Arkansas Electric Cooperative and President of the National Rural Electric Cooperative, recently led an association delegation to Guatemala where the Central American country formed their first electric cooperatives. Coleman says the national cooperative association has been working in the country for 28 years bringing electricity to remote villages for the first time.
