The annual Red Kettle campaign of the Salvation Army is their main fundraising project, according to Spalding. Funds raised from the Red Kettles aren’t used just at Christmas, but throughout the year for the many projects of the local Salvation Army unit.   This year’s goal is $80,000 and they still have a way to go before reaching it, says Spalding.
