Basketball and wrestling make up the local Friday schedule.
Mountain Home will play their final home games before the Christmas holiday. The Bombers and Lady Bombers will be welcoming Harrison to the Hangar.
Mountain Home’s girls are currently 4-5 on the season. The Lady Bombers are coming off a win over Springfield Hillcrest Saturday in the Centennial Bank Bulldog Classic at Fayetteville.
The Mountain Home boys come into the game at 1-7 on the year. The Bombers’ most recent game was last Thursday when they suffered an overtime loss to Greenwood in the Cyclone Classic at Russellville.
The junior varsity games tip off at 4:45. The varsity contests will begin around 6:00 and can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.
In other high school basketball, Cotter travels to Viola, Norfork hosts Izard County, Flippin entertains Mammoth Spring, Yellville-Summit makes the trip to Huntsville, Bruno-Pyatt is home against Bakersfield, Salem heads to Calico Rock, Gainesville’s boys travel to Thayer, the Dora boys are home against Cabool, Melbourne hosts Pocahontas, St. Joe entertains South Side-Bee Branch for Homecoming, Marshall is home against Valley Springs, Mountain View makes the trip to Searcy to meet Harding Academy, Bergman heads to Berryville, and Omaha hosts Jasper.
The Mountain Home High School wrestling team will be in Maumelle for a two-day tournament. Friday’s action starts at 5:30.
