A buzzer-beating bank shot from three-point range by Landon Crider gave the Bombers a 42-41 victory in the boys' game. Mountain Home jumped out early on the Cyclones mainly on the inside play of Garrett Dietsche. The Bombers grabbed a double digit lead in the third quarter, but Russellville started making their way back before the period ended. Mountain Home swapped a few leads with the Cyclones in the final period. Russellville had chances to put the game out of reach, but they missed some key free throws at the end. In fact, Javion White had two misses at the stripe with 11.4 seconds left, and the following play ensued.

Mountain Home improves to 2-8 on the season. Russellville falls to 1-5.

It was a different result in the girls' contest as the Lady Bombers fell to the Lady Cyclones 48-25. Hannah Pfiefer had all ten of Mountain Home's first quarter points as they held Russellville in check. However, the Lady Bombers did not score again until there was 2:27 left in the third period, and the Lady Cyclones took advantage with a balanced scoring attack eventually picking up the 23-point victory.
Mountain Home was led by Pfiefer with 18 points. Bailey Wilbers ended up with 15 for Russellville, and Tamera Rhode added ten.
The Lady Bombers drop to 5-6 on the year. The Lady Cyclones' record is now 4-5.

Mountain Home returns to the Hangar next Tuesday as they begin hosting the three-day First Arkansas Bail Bonds Tournament.
