FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) _ Daryl Macon scored 15 points as Arkansas used a

second-half surge to pull away from North Dakota State and win 71-55 on Tuesday

night.

Dusty Hannahs, Anton Beard and Moses Kingsley each added 11 points as Arkansas

(10-1) shot 9 of 21 from 3-point range and got 31 points from its bench players.

Paul Miller scored a game-high 17 points for North Dakota State (8-5), which

shot just 33 percent for the game. Tyson Ward added 10 points for the Bisons.

The Razorbacks led by as many as 20 points in the second half after Hannahs and

Macon led a 16-0 Razorbacks surge.

One of Mike Anderson’s prized junior college recruits, Macon followed up a

23-point performance last Saturday against Texas, knocking down three

3-pointers. Over his last four games, Macon is averaging 17 points after a

two-game stretch in which he totaled just 15 points against Stephen F. Austin

and Austin Peay.
