High school basketball makes up the local Friday schedule as both of Izard County’s teams will play in the Division I semifinals of the NEA Tournament at the ASU Convocation Center in Jonesboro. The Lady Cougars face Marmaduke in the morning session at 10:30, and the Izard County boys meet top-seeded East Poinsett County at 7:30.
