High school basketball makes up the local Tuesday schedule as one of the Twin Lakes Area’s biggest events gets underway. Mountain Home will be the site of the three-day First Arkansas Bail Bonds Tournament.

Mountain Home’s girls will be paired in the first round with Highland. The Lady Bombers are currently 5-6 after losing last Monday at Russellville. The Lady Rebels, coached by Mountain Home alumnus and former Arkansas Razorback Carrie Eoff, have a record of 8-5. Tip-off is scheduled for seven p.m.

In the other girls’ games, Morrilton and Greenwood get the tournament started at 10:00, Paragould meets Farmington at 1:00, and Southside Batesville faces Watson Chapel at 4:00.

The Mountain Home boys will play in the final game of the night as their first opponent will be Hamburg. The Bombers improved to 2-8 eight nights ago when they defeated Russellville on a three-pointer at the buzzer. Gametime is set for 8:30.

Also on the boys’ bracket, Farmington takes on Brinkley at 11:30, Paragould plays Marianna at 2:30, and Highland will be matched up with Southside Batesville at 5:30.
