The Lady Bombers advanced to the semifinals with a 54-30 victory over Highland. It was a different game for Mountain Home than when they played at Russellville last week, and the shots wouldn't fall. The Lady Bombers had a balanced scoring attack as nine different players got on the board. As for the defense? Mountain Home was able to hold the Lady Rebels in check for much of the night as they went on to post the 24-point victory.
Emma Martin led the Lady Bombers with ten points off the bench. For Highland, Kelsey Abney scored 18 points.
Mountain Home improves to 6-6 on the season. The Lady Rebels fall to 8-6.

In the other girls' games, Paragould defeated Farmington 58-42, Watson Chapel topped Southside Batesville 51-36, and Greenwood got past Morrilton 36-31.

The night wrapped up with the Bomber boys posting a 48-41 decision over Hamburg. Mountain Home jumped out early and led for much of the first half. However, the Bombers' offense had some second quarter struggles as the Lions went into the halftime locker room up by a point. The two teams swapped leads early in the third period, but Mountain Home eventually pulled away enough to keep their distance and went on to win by seven.
The Bombers were led by Mitchell McDonald with 14 points, and Garrett Dietsche added 11. For Hamburg, Nigel Lewis had 12 points.
Mountain Home is now 3-8 on the year. The Lions drop to 4-5.

Also on the boys' bracket, Farmington beat Brinkley 57-45, Southside Batesville defeated Highland 54-31, and it was Marianna over Paragould 53-44.
