Baxter County District Judge Van Gearhart is set to retire after 22 years of service. He moved to Mountain Home in January, 1976 and was elected in 1994.
Gearhart spoke with Bob Knight at KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot studios yesterday and says he has seen a lot of changes since then.

One of the cases that sticks in his mind the most was a situation involving animal cruelty in 2005.
