Gov. to grant pardon to Mtn. Home woman

     Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson announced Wednesday the pardon of Nicole Turner Litty of Mountain Home woman, was among the eight grant pardons intentions. Litty was convicted of felony commercial burglary and theft of property in Baxter County circuit court in 2005. The pardon issued says all terms of the her sentence have been completed and she has no further violations. It also noted law enforcement has not objected to the application.

     The pardon announcement says the governor had no commutations, 49 clemency requests were denied and three had no action taken.

     Applicants intended for pardon have completed all jail time, fulfilled all parole and probationary requirements and paid all fines related to their sentences. There is a 30-day waiting period to receive public feedback on the notices before final action is taken.
