The Lakeview Midway Public Water Authority has announced there will be a precautionary boil water order for some of its customers Sunday evening from eight until 11. The Water Authority will be conducting repairs to a leak on the water main and a gate valve on Highway 178 West at Nubbin Ridge Road. According to Administrative Assistant Theresa Lange, it is a planned repair, and the boil order will affect some Midway residents on Cedar Hills Road and Howard Creek Road west to the Lakeview City limits and all Lakeview residents continuing to the end of River Road.
Lakeview Midway Public Water Authority customers in the repair area will need to bring water to a boil for five minutes before using as drinking or cooking water. The boil order will remain in place until water samples come back from the health department that it is safe for human consumption.
