A Mountain Home man, 50-year-old Jesse Lee Vancleave, was arrested Thursday on felony drug charges after a traffic stop. According to an arrest affidavit from the Mountain Home Police Department, at approximately 1:48 in the afternoon officers noticed a vehicle driving erratically and driving left of the center line.
A traffic stop was initiated and officers discovered Vancleave had a suspended drivers license. They were given permission to search the vehicle and found a small amount of suspected methamphetamine as well as two plastic straws containing a powder residue.
Vancleave was booked into the Baxter County Jail on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance as well as other misdemeanor charges.
He was released the same day after posting a $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court January 26th.
