The Mountain Home freshmen basketball teams were able to go across the state line Tuesday and sweep West Plains.
In the boys’ contest, the Junior Bombers beat the Junior Zizzers 52-42. Wyatt Gilbert led Mountain Home with 16 points, and Matt Jones added 15. The Junior Bombers improve to 5-7 on the season, and their next game will be Thursday at Marshall.
Mountain Home was began the evening with their girls getting past West Plains 34-20. The Junior Lady Bombers were led by Abby Dietsche with 22 points. Mountain Home’s record is now 8-4, they’ll return to the home floor January 19th as they go up against Harrison.
