Cotter Police Chief Clint Tilton says Cotter Police are searching for a suspect who robbed Bayman Beverage, on 62/412 and Main Street, at gunpoint around 9:34 last night. The unidentified man brandished a pistol and stole cash and cigarettes.
Chief Tilton says the suspect was captured on video with a decent shot of his face. He says his department plans on releasing the image soon. Officers were on the scene quickly as the suspect fled into the woods. Dogs from the Arkansas Department of Corrections at Calico Rock assisted in the search.

Tilton says the trail of the suspect eventually went cold.
No injuries were reported.
