A battle between girls’ basketball teams ranked in Missouri’s Class 2 top ten ended with Gainesville capturing the championship of the Lady Trojan Tournament at Sparta. The fourth-ranked Lady Bulldogs were able to defeat number three Norwood 44-29 and hand the Lady Pirates their first loss of the season. Gainesville improves to 13-0 on the year.
