Baxter Regional Medical Center has announced a certified radiologist, Dr. Shane Whitlock, has joined the physicians of Mountain Home Radiology Consultants practicing at the hospital. Prior to moving to Mountain Home, Whitlock spent over nine years in private practice in Little Rock.
A Arkansas native, Whitlock earned his bachelor of science degree in microbiology from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and his medical degree from the U of A for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He completed a diagnostic radiology internship and residency at at UAMS, followed by a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Whitlock and his wife, Lee Ann, have a son.
