The Donald W. Reynolds Library serving Baxter County will host the 10th annual Volunteer Fair Saturday from 10 until 2 at the library. One of the largest events of its kind in the region, Julie Stewart, Volunteer Coordinator at the Library says over 30 local organizations will be at the event with information booths. She says the event is a good way for folks to see a variety of non-profit organizations and learn how to get involved.

Since may of the organizations in the Twin Lakes Area depend on the service of volunteers, the event corresponds with the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service as a way to encourage everyone to get involved in community service.

Stewart says there are volunteer opportunities for people of all ages and physical limitations; men, women, families and teenagers.
