Ice begins at Arkansas Missouri border

     While there is potential for ice to accumulate in the Twin Lakes Area, significant accumulations begin at the Arkansas/Missouri border and increase heading north.
     Andy Foster, Meteorologist from the National Weather Service in Springfield, says freezing rain is expected to continue.

     Foster says an ice storm warning is in effect. Treated roads are less slick than side roads, however drivers should exercise caution. Ice precipitation will eventually transition to rain over the weekend.
