Unexpected kindness and generosity from strangers can come unexpectedly at the most surprising places. One such incident happened Tuesday, according to former Pinkston Middle School Principal Michele McWilliams, when an anonymous woman touched the lives of her parents, who are in their 70’s, at the Big Lots store in Mountain Home.

She says her mother is fighting pancreatic cancer and although the items in the basket only totaled about $20, that’s not the point.
