Local residents in DC for inauguration

     As all eyes focus on Washington, DC this week for the Inauguration of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States, among to crowds will be Dr. Bruce White and his wife Stacey who are left Mountain Home yesterday with six other local residents. This is the first time any of the group have been to an inauguration and for some, the first time they have visited the nation’s capital.

     She said last night the group, which is staying in the duPont Circle area, enjoyed the city.

     Today she expects it will be busier.

     Arkansas First District Congressman Rick Crawford and family connections were able to get the group an invited to attend the inauguration, she says. They were told to be at the ceremony three hours before it is scheduled to begin at noon, east coast time, and White says they were told security would be tight.

     Tomorrow night the group plans to attend several balls.

     White will be calling KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News with a report Friday.

     The inauguration will be broadcast live on KTLO-FM, 97.5.
