A rural Mountain Home man who was wanted on multiple felony charges turned himself in to the Baxter County Sheriff Monday. Eighteen year old Justin Randall Watson has been charged with residential burglary, theft by receiving, breaking or entry, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and 12 counts of theft of property, according to Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery. Watson was released from custody by order of the court and is set to appear in circuit court Thursday.

The sheriff says the charges against Watson followed an investigation which began in June of last year when a search warrant was executed at a residence on County Road 715 to locate drugs and stolen firearms. During the search ten guns and 336 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were recovered. Less than a week later, some of the recovered guns were identified by the owner who says they had been stolen, along with cash, from his residence on State Highway 201 South. Watson was developed as a suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

A second suspect, identified by the sheriff as Logan Walters, has also been charged. His case has already been adjudicated, according to Sheriff Montgomery.
