Bombers top Harrison in benefit baseball game

The Mountain Home High School baseball team played their pre-season benefit game Thursday at home and they picked up a thrilling win over Harrison. Drake Patrick delivered a walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh inning for a 4-3 win.

Mountain Home had built a 3-0 lead after four innings before the Goblins tied the game with three runs in the fifth.

Gage McClain and Cord Smith each had two hits. Will Gross picked up the win on the mound.



Mountain Home won the J.V. game 5-4.



The Mountain Home baseball teams will open the season Tuesday at Jonesboro Westside.
