The Boone County Sheriff, Mike Moore, is notifying the public of a Level two registered sex offender residing in the county. The sheriff says Junior Joseph Smith has moved to a residence on Martin Court in Bellefonte.
Smith was convicted in 1998 of rape involving a 12-year-old female.
The notification from the sheriff is in compliance with Arkansas statutes for community notification.
