A one-vehicle accident in Sharp County claimed the life of a Fulton County man Friday evening. According to the Arkansas State Police, 78-year-old Boyd Estes of Mammoth Spring was pronounced dead after the accident north of Hardy.
Estes was traveling southbound on Arkansas Highway 175 in rainy conditions. Trooper Darren Bates reports Estes' vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, drove off the right side of the highway and struck a tree.
Estes' body was transported to Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland following the 8:02 p.m. accident.
